The Core project

DFI Youth Leadership Forum

Student leader training that ignites a service-leadership mindset…

Building a strong leadership group is all about digging deep and creating leaders from the inside out. Those students who understand and take hold of the power of their influence have the most impact on their peers and student body. Through advanced leadership concepts and a high energy atmosphere, students are guided through a process of commitment and purpose. They become unified as a team, and more ready than ever to use their unique influence to positively impact their peers and school culture.

Perfect for:

  • Middle and Junior High School Student Leadership Teams
  • Student Council/ASB
  • Sources of Strength
  • Leadership Class
  • Mixed Leadership Groups
  • Peer mentors
  • New or existing programs with a goal of developing leaders beyond roles/titles

Students will:

  • Self-discover what it means to have the heart of the leader and lead from the inside out.
  • Become fixated on serving the needs of the school and their peers and less on their own benefit.
  • Unite as a group of student leaders who promote community, culture, and positive peer influence.
  • Become inspired and empowered, transformed with a servant-leadership mindset.
